Joanne previously worked as a Business Systems Accountant with National Mutual (now AXA), gaining experience in both the Victorian Office and National Head Office before leaving in 1992 to start a family.
Since 2000, Joanne was conducting her own bookkeeping business, working predominantly with a number of the firm’s clients, until joining Darren in his practice in November 2008.
As a result, Joanne has extensive knowledge of our client base and has provided quality solutions to their bookkeeping needs over the years.
In the months leading up to the inception of DJ Smith Group, Joanne managed the establishment of our new office, co-ordinating all fit out work and establishment of our communications network.
In her current role, Joanne is implementing new systems within the Practice as we strive to keep up with the constant changes in technology and improve our efficiencies. She also enjoys building relationships with clients and being able to assist them through problem solving.
Joanne is married with 2 adult daughters. To relax, she enjoys walking on the beach, spending time with her family and travelling.
